Located 100 feet from the Mansion, the 2,400 square-foot 1890 Carriage House was originally used to house the horse and buggies used by the family of the Cedar Crest. It has been renovated and converted into four rooms for guests, and can be reserved by multiple couples or families as a "vacation rental house" near Biltmore in Asheville.
The two-story house features vaulted ceilings, large living room with decorative historic fireplace, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor deck. On the first floor are two guestrooms, each with a private bath. On the second floor is a two bedroom suite with an adjoining, shared bathroom in the hallway.
This beautiful home has the feeling of a mini bed and breakfast or grand vacation rental. Rooms are available separately or can be combined for entire house use accommodating a total of 8 people, or add the Stables Suite downstairs for up to 10 people.
